I'm afraid I haven't seen that problem before... in general, I believe PowerPoint copies the autotweet plugin into the plugins directory -- maybe that directory is blocked or protected in some way? Or try to put it directly in the right directory before adding?

FAQs doesn't have a scenario listed for this:

#1 - For MS Office '03, the following page: http://www.sapweb20.com/blog/powerpoint-twitter-tools/instructions/#twitterupdate
#2 From Tools -> Add-ins -> Available Add-ins:
#3 The unchecked/unselected box for Autotweet is available to select, but attempting to select gives the error msg, 'PowerPoint couldn't load the add-in Autotweet'

- Does the add-in need to be downloaded to a specific location; can it be anywhere?
- Are there other setup protocols that have to happen before the add-in install is attempted?

Any other specific insight on this is of course greatly appreciated.

Best,
JW

What great tools for engaging learners in training! I can't wait to try them. Is this a powerpoint plug in? Is there a download for the voting and feedback powerpoint slides that I missed somewhere? Thanks for your help.

Is there a way to make the ticker start up automatic? I want to integrate the ticker into a self running presentation.

This is brilliant thanks! I am currently looking at how Twitter can be used in the classroom to accelerate learning. Embedding the tweets onto a PowerPoint slide is a really nice way for students to present research work etc. I really like it thanks - I am going to mention it in my blog if that is OK.

Also, the Mood Meter and Crowd Meter are excellent resources for the classroom - measuring opinion etc. I'm struggling to get them to work at the moment, but I will persevere! Any help would be grateful

Yes -- "slideformat=2". Thanks for pointing that out, since I'd forgotten to put it in the instructions. I'll updated it.

Hi, do you have a variable to set the presentation format to "alternate"?

Thanks

Craig, I don't seem to have the problem, so I'm not sure what's blocking -- maybe it was a temporary glitch with Supertweet and/or Twitter?
